I was born the son of an Assembly of God pastor in Dallas, Texas. Inchurch, I was introduced to music at a very early age. The first instrument I
learned to play was a mandolin, then the piano at my parent's insistence. In
middle school and high school I studied the upright double bass and trombone. Though, my first love was the guitar and later on the bass guitar.
Like the "Prodigal Son" who went out into the world, I played in the night club
scene. Quickly I learned proficiency with a musical instrument could take me all over the world. Soon after my twenty-second birthday, I was given the opportunity to play in an USO tour where we traveled to Korea, Japan, Alaska, and Hawaii. I returned to the United States played in a variety of secular bands and continued to travel extensively.
In 1989 the "Prodigal Son", [I], returned home. I rededicated my life to JesusChrist the Lord. Soon I knew I had to make the decision to remove myself from the night clubs and popular music business and tum my musical attention to studio recordings and contemporary Christian music. In the years since I have been blessed by recordings with numerous Christian artists, including: Ron Lucas, By the Tree and Ted Pearce, to name a few. The Lord has enabled me to write music as well. My music is used on numerous television networks such as Bravo and HGTV. My music has been utilized on video games, radio media, television commercials and Christian programming.
