A native of suburban Chicago, Mai El Moughayar lived in a home filled with music and began violin lessons as a young child. After choosing to follow Jesus Christ as a young adult, Mai’s life was radically transformed and her music became an expression of worship and praise to God. Mai graduated from Christ For The Nations Institute of Dallas, TX in 2001, and since then has ministered on her violin with various worship leaders and ministries around the DFW Metroplex, as well as in the countries of Mexico, the Philippines, Uganda and Lebanon. Mai and her husband Simon and their two children reside in Dallas, TX and plan to one day live and minister in Simon’s native Lebanon. Mai’s deep desire is to see the fulfillment of Psalm 86:9: “All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O Lord; they will bring glory to your name.”
