Dear Partner and Friend,
While I am writing this letter to you, Joni and I are in Jamaica performing a wedding. It is so beautiful here! The bus driver who picked us up from the Airport is a Daystar viewer.
A lot of exciting things are happening during the month of July.
- 1) My Sweetheart, Joni, is having a birthday this month on July 19th. (She’s not getting older, she’s just getting better!)
- 2) Daystar will once again make history by becoming the fi rst Christian Television Network to launch in New Zealand. This will take place on July 1st on Sky TV in New Zealand. Daystar will be on channel 112. New Zealand is where the movie, Lord of the Rings, was filmed.
- 3) Joni and I and the Daystar Singers are going back to Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas to minister for our close friends, Pastors Joel and Victoria Osteen. (That will be on July 14th, and we will show it LIVE from 7:00pm CT – 9:00pm CT.) If you can, come and visit Lakewood in person because you will love it!
Our baby, Miss Rebecca who is 18, just graduated from High School. (I was honored to speak at the graduation.) Rebecca will be going off to Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. So, please pray for her. And pray for her Mom and Dad who will cry and will miss her!!!
Many ministries have a “Summer slump,” but Joni and I are believing for your Daystar to have a “Summer jump!” If all our Partners will be faithful to God with their Sharathon pledges, and if some will give an extra one-time gift, then we can indeed have a “Summer jump!”
Thank you for what you have already done. And thank you in advance for what you are going to do. “Partners make it possible” for Daystar to spread “All the Word to all the world!”
Yours for Christian Television,
Marcus Lamb

On the Fourth of July, each and every year, the United States celebrates independence, liberty, and freedom. Three words that many hear but few understand. Three words that many declare but few truly experience. People question how such freedom and
liberty is possible when they themselves struggle with the many cares of this world. More today feel like prisoners than the more
than conquerors Christ declares them to be. The chains of worry, doubt, guilt, shame and fear hang heavy on the hearts of many.
The financial, emotional, physical and, yes, spiritual struggles are more than they can bear.
