The Beacon of Hearts name is inspired by Isaiah 61:1, which refers to the Messianic servant, the slain Lamb and resurrected Christ: The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release from darkness those who are bound.

The heart of the mission is to proclaim Christ’s salvation to all nations and all peoples as declared in I Chronicles 16:23-25, starting locally and going globally. We proclaim that salvation is by grace through faith. The source is God’s love for mankind, sending His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross as the sacrificial Lamb and atonement for our sins. Those who accept His gift are sealed eternally by the Holy Spirit. (John 3:16, Ephesians 1:17; 2:8-9)

We declare the grace, mercy, forgiveness, and presence of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, God in one, the only Savior of the world. The Beacon of Hearts extends the loving kindness and compassion of Jesus by helping widows, caring of orphans, and helping the indigent around the world with medical mission trips.

Our calling is to revive souls (Psalm 19:7-8), restore the weary (Isaiah 40:31; 61:1), and return hearts to God (John 16:13). We honor, preach, and stand on the infallible Word of God that brings healing to a broken world. (Matthew 28:19-20)
